Dr. Jeannie Meza-Chavez serves as the Superintendent of Schools for the San Elizario Independent School District. She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from New Mexico State University, a Master's degree in Education, Mid-Management from Sul Ross State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing with a Minor in Communications from the University of Texas at El Paso. Dr. Meza-Chavez is a staunch advocate for student success and is committed to educational excellence. As the State President of the Texas Council of Women School Executives (TCWSE), she supports and empowers both current and aspiring female leaders. Her motivational skills are complemented by her dedication and expertise. Known for her encouraging mantra, "manos a la obra," she consistently inspires those around her. In the El Paso community, Dr. Meza-Chavez is highly respected for her integrity and work ethic. Her contributions to education uplift many, solidifying her legacy of leadership and empowerment for future generations.
