Eastwood High School Class of 2024 graduate Sebastian Perez Navarro competed against high-schoolers across the country and clinched first-place honors in Impromptu Speaking at the national competition of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), which took place in July in Orlando, Fla.
Impromptu Speaking tests participants' abilities to prepare and deliver a speech on the spot. Competitors receive the topic on site and must quickly organize their thoughts and present them coherently and persuasively.
Sebastian’s victory is a testament to his exceptional oratory skills and quick thinking. His ability to articulate his ideas effectively under time constraints sets him apart from his peers nationwide, and Ysleta ISD congratulates Sebastian on this impressive accomplishment!
