Lancaster Elementary proudly opened its doors in 1983 and is a proud member of the Del Valle Learning Community. The school colors are red and yellow with the school mascot being an Aztec. We are Aztec Strong!
Lancaster is a proud Blended Learning Campus, 1 of 13 campuses in YISD, that uses technology, teacher facilitation and instructional tools to create personalized learning paths for each child. In this way, we ensure to maximize the strengths of your children and to empower students to grow in the learning areas identified in their learning profiles. Our school motto is- Every Aztec Counts! Every Moment Matters!- and blended learning allows us to take each student to the next level.

Lancaster Instructional Programs/Extracurricular Activities
Lancaster Elementary students have the opportunity to participate in a host of programs and activities that build them into well-rounded students. All students PK-5 take part in a robust Fine Arts Program of Art, Theater Arts, Band or Orchestra. Further, students in PK-5 attend weekly classes with their school counselor to develop their social emotional learning and their technology teacher to learn about STEM and robotics. Another weekly enrichment opportunity for Lancaster students is with our librarian, where not only do they grow in their love of reading, but where they also participate in online learning and making global connections with students, museums, and even the National Football Hall of Fame to extend their learning.
Students also have the opportunity to participate in our 3-5 Aztec Cheer Squad, Gaming Clubs, Aztec Vex Robotics Club, Student Council, Announcement Media Team, Esports, and UIL events Oral Reading/ Spelling.
